Further to my comments on the wonderful care I have had from Dr Elneil and her team earlier in 2018, can I just say that 3 months after my surgery at UCLH, my life has been transformed. I recovered quickly from my major surgery, have had no pain or discomfort from only 4 days afterwards, and because of that I could rapidly be active again and my recovery was very quick as a result. My friends could not believe I'd actually had any surgery, because I was so well so quickly! I often had to remind myself to take care - because I was so well and so had nothing to remind me. I have a long history of problems, about 40 years in all, so I am now mid 70s, yet this was the most trouble free surgery I have ever had and definitely my most rapid recovery. It is truly amazing and is entirely due to the skill of Miss Elneil and her team and the care, respect and outstanding expertise that I have been fortunate enough to have had. The day I found out about Miss Elneil in 2017 (on TV) was my luckiest day for a very long time and from being in real trouble and fearing no more could be done for me (something I had previously been told at another hospital) I was referred to her and she told me she could fix me. I didn't then have to wait very long for my procedure and I am fixed. As I say, it has transformed my life and I am back to my normal active, always out and about, happy and confident self. She is the kindest lady you could wish to meet and quite simply, a star.

I have just had the extreme good fortune to be under the care of MissElneil at UCHL. I am an older but very active lady and have had a lifetime of prolapse and associated problems. I thought nothing more could be done for me when another severe prolapse developed in 2017. I had the great luck to see Miss Elneil on TV and asked to be referred to her, even though I live a long way from London. From the start she gave me a wonderful feeling of confidence that she could and would help me. She is a lovely lady, kind and caring and funny too. She has recently operated on me and with her wonderful team at UCHL has fixed my complex condition, with maximum skill, wonderful care and minimal pain. How extraordinarily lucky was I to find her?!! Her team's priority is the care of their patients and I owe her the greatest of thanks. My active, older life can now carry on as normal, something I never believed was possible. I owe everything I now can do, to her. What a lady.

Dr S Elneil is a godsend. A warm, genuine, truly talented Urogynaecologist and Uro-neurologist at the UCLH. The best expert in mesh removal in the UK. From my first consultation, my journey as a patient with Dr Elneil has been nothing short of 5* treatment. She fully informed me of every step and her work ethic and compassion are outstanding. She's a true asset to the NHS and long may she continue to help patients who are suffering from mesh injuries.
