In September 2011 my Daughter was diagnosed with breat cancer at the age of 28. The next few Months were a whirlwind of hospital visits and appointments against an understandable backdrop of fear and apprehension within our family. However, during those dark Months there were beacons of hope. The Breast Care unit at broomfield Hospital has justifiably got an outstanding reputation and the staff there are World Class. As for Roopi Dua, well I'm not in a position to comment on her work as a Surgeon but what I can say is that she became like a friend or even a Sister to my daughter. Her bedside manner and friendliness are infectious and very engaging. She has so much enthusiasm and commitment not only for the job that she does, but also for the patients under her care. She puts the minds of both patients and their families at ease and creates an environment of openess in which it was very easy to ask questions or have concerns addressed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Miss Dua or everyone in the team working with her.

I was one of the trainees with Miss Dua last year. During the year I worked in the unit, I found Miss Dua courteous, polite, caring with incredible bedside manners. The standard of care for the patients in the Breast Unit in Broomfield is extremely high with highly professional team lead by Miss Dua and Mr Smith. I truly admired the level of detail and the time taken to manage each of the patients in the clinics and also in the operating theatres. Being part of that team was not only enjoyable but also highly educational. I would recommend the unit to patients as they will be well looked after there.

From the moment I was diagnosed with breast cancer I had nothing but support from Miss Dua and her team. She was caring, professional and everything was explained fully and in detail. My surgery far exceeded my expectations and I would have no hesitation in recommended her.
