I had my hip replaced almost 10 years ago by Ms Tross. It was clearly evident that she inspired her whole team. My operation was not as straight forward as had been expected, but I always felt well supported and that my progress very important to Ms Tross. I have been able to enjoy an active decade (so far) thanks to her interest and care. I met Ms Tross again recently when I broke my arm, and remarkably, she remembered me after all these years.

The easiest Doctor to deal with like your big sister coming into the room after surgery. So easy to talk to,ask any question and so gentle and kind. I have never felt so safe in a pair of hands. The before surgery and especially the after care is fault less. Can not rate this amazing lady more highly a joy to deal with.

I suffered a knee injury after trying to get back into playing football after a long term out... I was searching for an available consultant and came across Samantha who practised at a hospital close by. Initially the availability and location were of most importance, but I soon realised that I had discovered a truly fantastic surgeon who filled me with confidence that she could make my knee strong again! Samantha was very informative on the procedure and I'd also call her a digital pioneer - she has put together a fantastic application for smartphones to give patients all the information they need in the run up to and post operation. As for my knee - well, 8-weeks post surgery and it feels great; no more pain and I'll be aiming to return to football again soon... although unfortunately I don't think Gareth Southgate will give me a chance now that I'm in my 40's! :-)

I visited Miss Tross after a rugby injury. I was diagnosed with an ACL and Meniscus tear and was scheduled for surgery. I am now recovering 4 weeks after the procedure. From initial consultation to MRI and surgery was under 4 weeks which provided peace of mind that the issue could be resolved in a timely manner. Miss Tross provided clear explanations and details of her suggested approach, she did not push surgery and encouraged me to seek alternative treatment. I always felt reassured I was receiving the best possible treatment and I am delighted I was treated by Miss Tross. Recovery will take time but I will be seen again in 6 weeks so know that if everything does not go to plan I will be re-accessed

I was operated by MIss Tross 2006 and 2011, I am now completely recovered and leading a normal life ,I would like thank the staff and specially MIss Tross for the wonderful care I received,and giving me opportunity for a good retirement.,now I am able to do gardening,carpentry and go for long walks.All due to the wonderful MIss Tross.Gerrard Fitz gerald
