Dr Rekhal Wuntakal has listened to my worries and concerns and referred me on when necessary. She explains what is happening and is caring and efficient. Also she is cheerful which I’ve found to be very helpful when I’ve needed my doctor to be positive and encouraging

Rekha Wuntakal explained carefully what was happening & kept me at ease throughout the appointment. She listened to my questions & answered fully. She gave me details of who to contact if I don’t hear further, which I thought was very helpful.

Ms Wuntakal is an excellent and very caring consultant, providing me with detailed information and explanations about the various tests and procedures she sent me for. Ms Wuntakal visited me three times during my overnight hospital stay and called me the week following my operation to check I was recovering well. I had none of the possible side effects following my operation because Ms Wuntakal was able to deal with it laparoscopically despite possible issues with scar tissue after earlier surgery. I only needed to take painkillers for a couple of days after surgery and was soon up and about as usual.

Thank you for being so caring during my biopsy procedure and also for the nurse who held my hand and talked to me. I will be grateful if I could remain under the care of Dr Wuntakal until I am discharged.

I was referred for a laprascopic total hysterectomy and salipingo oophrectomy as I had been diagnosed with endometriosis approx 10 years ago and contacted GP for pain medication. GP blood tests showed some organ impairment. MRI and ultrasound scans carried out on on a timely basis.Miss Wuntakal listened to my concerns about bladder and bowel function. She also listened to my allergy concerns and performed operation without catheterisation as this might have caused inflammation due to allergic reaction (I also have anaphylaxis). During the operation Miss Wuntakal also performed removal of adhesions on my bowels. I recovered really quickly and all bodily functions have improved. Really great after care too. Miss Wuntakal has transformed my everyday life as I am now pain free.
