Miss Khan was polite and attentive. She explained each step/procedure in simple language and answered my questions in the same manner. In particular, she took a 'belt and braces' approach to my illness which was very reassuring, if a little disconcerting initially! The outcome is that I felt listened to, confident and content in the care I received.

What a lady!! excellent surgeon, 100% perfection and no less, compassionate beyond words in her work. Caring ensures every avenue was covered before, during and after my breast surgery. Definately made this difficult time more bearable, the NHS should be honoured to have such expertise in this field of breast surgery. My masectomy and reconstructive surgery was the best I could of hoped for. Thankyou does not seem enough, continue your great work and making your patients feel better about themselves again, not only physically, but mentally too.

I am a consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon working at NHS Forth Valley and BMI Kings Park. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. I have trained and worked in Edinburgh, at the Edinburgh Breast Unit, and in Surrey, at Frimley Park Hospital. I was previously a consultant in Cheshire.
