Ms Amaar recently performed my laparoscopy & adhesiolysis procedure to treat debilitating abdominal and pelvic pain. From my first visit through to my post op consultation Katy was very sympathetic. She explained everything in great detail and helped me feel very at ease about the procedure. I would highly recommend Ms Amaar to anybody seeking excellent gynaecological treatment and care.

Miss Ammar is a wonderful professional, caring doctor & skilled surgeon. In May at Ashtead hospital she successfully performed diagnostic laparoscopy removing adhesions reliving me from my acute abdominal pain. Prior to the procedure, she gave me great advice enabling me to decide on the best course of action for me and my family. She is very caring and made sure I was fine before & after the procedure. I thoroughly recommend her.

I had the Novasure procedure in March. I was really nervous until Dr Ammar took the time to carefully explain the procedure as well as what I could expect afterwards. She went through the pro's and con's of the procedure with me and gave me time to think about it before I decided. I felt comfortable and was made part of the process. Dr Ammar is patient, gentle and compassionate, she was there to make sure I was comfortable before the procedure and afterwards to see to it that I was well enough to go home. My whole experience at Ashtead Hospital was really amazing and I am thrilled with the resultsof the Novasure as well.

I have just had a vaginal hysterectomy and anterior repair at Ashtead Hospital on the NHS. I was a nervous patient but Miss Ammar put me at ease by explaining everything clearly. She saw me just before my operation and was very reassuring, and I had great confidence in her. Miss Ammar even came to see me on Saturday (her day off) and I would have every confidence in recommending her. She is very professional but friendly and approachable.

I am now almost 2months post op following a Novasure Endometrial ablation and I cannot thank Miss Ammar enough. I have had years of gynea problems that have left me feeling exhausted and debilitated. Having had 2 laparoscopy procedures to treat endometriosis I had thought that my only option was to have a full hysterectomy. Something I had resigned myself to but was not looking forward to considering I am still in my early 40's. Having moved house and therefore relocated too far from my last Consultant, I booked an appointment with Miss Ammar. She is quite frankly, amazing, she listened and spoke to me as if I had known her for years. I felt totally at ease and trusted her straight away. Miss Ammar suggested the Novasure procedure as an alternative route and we agreed that this will hopefully get me through to a natural menopause. Two months on I feel like a new woman. I am back to running 3 x times a week (only 3miles at the moment) and feeling really good. For months and months I haven't even felt like putting my running trainers on. I have bags more energy for looking after my 4year old son. I have had 1 period since the op which I have sailed through without having to take any sort of painrelief. Fantastic and thank you so much to Miss Ammar for returning me back to a functioning woman again!!
