Miss Clare Rees provided outstanding care to our daughter. We were quite traumatised by the serious procedure our daughter had to undergo but the anxiety was easier to control knowing Miss Rees was the consultant and surgeon. Open and frank conversations meant we felt involved in the process and her personal efforts to speed through the pre-operation tests/assessments displayed an unfaltering dedication to her patient. Thank you Miss Rees for everything you did for our daughter. You are a credit to our wonderful yet under appreciated National Health Service.

The doctor cared how my daughter felt, she helped her by understanding her and doing what she promised. My daughter's first words after waking up from the anaesthetic were . I'm so happy mummy, I feel so much better with myself.
Hopefully the cyst/polyp that was removed is negative, and her small hernia will not come back. Thank you Dr Rees, for your expert help and your staff nurses that looked after her through out the day., I highly recommend not only the Dr but the staff at st Mary's hospital

We were seen promptly. Dr Rees introduced herself and her colleague, and immediately put us at ease. She listened to the concerns we had about our 9month old daughter and checked we were happy for her to be examined. She reassured us and clearly explained what she thought. She explained that it would not be necessary for our baby to undergo further investigation. We left feeling happy and reassured and totally trusted her professional judgement. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Dr Rees. Thank you for your time.

I am a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare Trust and Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, specialising in laparoscopic and gastrointestinal surgery. I was previously a Locum Consultant Specialist Neonatal and Paediatric Surgeon at Great Ormond Street Hospital and UCLH.
