The staff on NICU and maternity are amazing we feel happy and confident in all aspects of our daughters care. Staff are friendly and approachable and seem extremely experienced in there own fields. The unit itself is safe, clean comfortable and welcoming.

Dr Scorrer is a rare bred of doctor whom you would trust your child's life with, in our case he literary did. Dr Scorrer could not have done anymore in the treatment he provided to our daughter, he made himself available at all times, providing the highest level of care & attention. The NHS is lucky to have a doctor like this in its organization.

Our son was born very prematurely at 24 weeks. This was an extremely traumatic and emotional experience. Weighing just over 1lb he was very fragile and needed a lot of support. As parents this was very scary and all the medical equipment and procedures could be quite overwhelming. Dr Scorrer and his colleagues looked after our son for nearly 4 months. Dr Scorrer was always very honest and took the time to explain everything that was happening. Always making sure that we understood all the complicated medical treatment. At times he had to tell us things were not going as well as they had hoped, but although some of the news was hard to hear, we felt assured that everything possible was being done to care for our son. Throughout his time in the NICU we felt complete trust that our son was getting the highest possible care anywhere in the world. Dr Scorrer had a genuine care not only for our son but also for us as parents. Taking the time to ask us how we were and always extremely friendly, which was especially helpful at this time. We can't thank him enough for everything he and the NICU team did for our family; we owe them everything.

Dr Tim Scorrer was Consultant for my twin boys after their premature birth. It is without doubt that the reason we were able to cope during this very turbulent time was due to his sensitive, expert and wonderful nature. He was approachable, always had time for us, listened and treated the boys and my family as if nothing was too much trouble. I trusted him and his expert knowledge implicitly and we were totally confident we were given the best advice on which to base our decision making. His 'cotside' manner was always calm and respectful , even when delivering bad news. I will remain thankful for what he did for my children and my family for the rest of my life. We received the most wonderful care from this very wonderful doctor.

This consultant is amazing in my eyes! Kind and courteous and always explained things if I didn't understand. When I asked for a more in depth understanding of my daughter's NICU stay, without hesitation agreed to go through things with me. I have always felt able to approach Mr Scorrer with any questions or concerns and I think that is important when you are in a hospital environment where you don't understand much of the medical terms or what could be happening regarding your child. A very nice man with a lot of patience-thank you for all your help, support and care regarding my daughter
