Good at listening
Continuity of care is the best I've had over the years. Many thanks
I began seeing Dr Millward when I was at my absolute lowest. After initial unease on my part due due to an uncommunicated change in practitioner I am now so thankful this happened. Dr Millward always treats me like a human being, is respectful and understanding but has sensitively challenged my thoughts/actions when appropriate. I feel that under his care I am finally making progress and most days see a future in a way I hadn't for over a year. He really is an asset to the NHS.
Dr Millward came to N-STEP as a covering Consultant. His friendly can do attitude made him a pleasure to work with.
Very kind and compassionate doctor. Seems more like a friend. Always makes time and never rushes through your appointment. Listens to you very carefully and offers good advice without being judgemental so you feel you can open up but only when the time is right for you. In the mental health profession I have met some very good people but also some bad. Dr Millward is one of the best. You can tell he entered the profession for the right reasons. I wouldn't wish anybody to have mental health issues but if you do and the only person you can turn to is a psychiatrist it is comforting to know there are people like Tim whom you can talk to.
