Dr Millward is Deputy Chief Medical Officer for Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership trust. As part of his work he works one day a week for a Community Mental health team within the trust
I had a bad experience with him at St Mary's Hospital in Kettering. After several meetings he said me to continue to take my medication at highest dose, I asked him how long and he said - maybe years, and literally after this appointment he discharged me and specifyed in the hospital's system that I stopped taking medication! It was complete and intentional LIE!!! And it had been found accidentally by another doctor in this hospital, year after. Also, he underestimated the depth of my condition, and partially misdiagnosed it, so now I have to fight about a correct conclusions every time, because everybody sees his first wrong assessment in the system, and takes it as a basic. Hate this person sooo much.

Excellent, he always asks the right questions and is very non judgemental about the answers. I always feel heard. He is very friendly but authoritative so I know I can trust him with handling my medication dosages. All round good experience.

Tim has helped me gain my confidence back listening to what I have told him and noticed thing I have not told him I've waited years to get on the right medication and he has done that for me because he was observant of my condition and would not want a diffrent doctor to deal with my care thank you is all I can say .from kurt brightman

Dr Millward was well informed about my history, listened to what I was saying and gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision about starting a new medication. Dr Millward came across as very knowledgeable and happy to share that knowledge to create a collaborative approach to my managing my diagnosis. Having had a very supportive NHS psychiatrist in the past I was hopeful but apprehensive about being seen by someone new, I felt immediately at ease at my first appointment and continue to feel supported and heard.

Tim has been really helpful ever since I first saw him. He has made me feel comfortable and has supported me with my struggles. He always makes sure to explain everything in detail and makes me feel confident about the next steps we will take.

My son was very unwell . He had no insight in to his illness . Re was refusing treatment. With his exceptional skill Dr Tim Millward was able to engage my son with the treatment. This is the great breakthrough in his training for the lady 18 months. If my son continues to comply with treatment and remain well it is to Dr Tim Millward’s credit. I am extremely grateful for the help provided my son and the family during this very critical period.

Dr Millward has been very kind and compassionate with understanding my neurodevelopmental disorder and co-occurring mental health needs. The national shortage of ADHD medication has made it extremely difficult for many of us to source the pharmaceutical treatment that we require to function. Dr Millward has been extremely thorough and helpful with exploring an alternative treatment method and he has been very prompt and helpful with responding to any queries/concerns that I have raised. I feel very lucky and thankful for the care and support that I received from him at a difficult time in my life.

Dr Millward took time to build my trust. He has excellent communication skills and explains things in a a way I can understand. Building trust/communications with psychiatrists has been something I have struggled with in the past. Has been able to deal with my very difficult emotions, offer hope and he has been a big part of being relatively settled for the last 2 years. Dr Millward has demonstrated the importance of working with patients families to be partners in their recovery. Thank you, my family and I have really appreciated the excellent care I have received from you.
