Dr Kus, is efficient, knowledgable about his field of practice. He is caring towards his patients and their families. No query goes unsolved. We have every faith with Dr Kus and the great team of nurses that work with him.

We have been seeing Thomas for the last 14 months, as part of my daughter's shared care with an oncologist based at Bristol Children's Hospital. As well as providing excellent care in his own right, Thomas was and remains an invaluable link between ourselves and our oncologist. He has always taken any concerns we have had seriously and has responded amazingly speedily to them (emails or a phonecall back within 5 minutes of a query are not unusual). On a number of occasions whilst my daughter was on treatment he accessed our oncologist for us when she was beyond my reach. We definitely made the right decision to go for shared care (daughter, aged 17, had to choose between adult or paediatric) and have always found Thomas to be thorough, open to discussion and able to explain matters to us clearly. English is not Thomas's first language but, apart from the slight accent, you wouldn't know that!

Dr Kus has been my daughters consultant for nearly 2 years now, he has helped her a great amount, even though she is still needing medication and still has troubles he has improved her lifestyle by a long way. She attended a chronic pain syndrome clinic which was amazing and Zoe and myself learnt a lot which really helped the both of us. Dr Kus listens to any concerns of mine if she is showing signs of trouble again and always shows he really does care about his patients. It's taken Zoe a long time to trust him but because of his patience and kind nature she now gets less stressed when a appointment is due. It's been a very long and hard time for the family but he has been a great support to us and has good understanding how illness effects the whole family. We are hoping that Zoe will soon be able to return to a completely normal routine and I'm sure with his knowledge and care she will soon be able to do this.

Dr Kus inspires total confidence. He is very quick to respond to queries and always makes time to explain issues thoroughly. Equally, he is open about when he does not have the answer, and so I am never concerned that I have an inadequate answer: he will always refer me to the right source of information when a query is not in his area of specialism. He also demonstrates great care and concern for my daughter, and I always feel completely confident that he has her best interests at heart. I have been able to develop an honest and valuable working relationship with him in caring for my daughter: he shows trust in my judgement and is good at finding flexibility when it is possible (e.g. allowing me to take her out for a walk between treatments, etc). I greatly appreciate his openness in allowing me to contact him by email, which often saves time and gets me the information I need about my child's progress or needs. He is an exceptionally kind, capable, humane and intelligent doctor, and I am very grateful to have his help in caring for my daughter.

He was very helpful. Fedback results to me as soon as he received them. He also made a plan which I was happy with so it was clear what to do if my child became unwell.
