Met with the Dr who listened intently and carried out a thorough examination. Diagnosis was 100% correct as was backed up by subsequent CT scan. My appointment was late on in the day for which the Dr was late for - I see this as complete positive as it is a clear demonstration that the Dr spends an appropriate amount of time with each of his patients Very appreciative of the service received and would thoroughly recommend

Following on from a spell of stomach, bowel and reflux related issues I nervously made an appointment with Dr.Ram at Spire Cheshire. I had previously had numerous appointments with my g.p but felt things were not completely right so having researched gastroligists decided to take the plunge. I had been suffering a little for quite some time - so was naturally nervous and on meeting with Dr Ram was made to feel at ease immediately. Dr.Ram in no nonsense, completely relatable, easy going, comfortable and incredibly thorough. He is a fantastic listener, noting every detail and looking for clues, he put my mind at rest fairly quickly referring me for numerous tests and eventually I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy with sedation. Dr.Ram was patient, understood completely how nervous I was, clutched me by the hand and talked me through every step. I would not hesitate in making an appointment with Dr.Ram should you have any gastro related symptoms which need looking into. I have already recommended him to my mother who has since become a patient. I would go to see him at the drop of a hat. A warm kind caring consultant with years of experience and a fantastic manor. Thankyou so much Dr.Ram.

I have been a patient of Dr Ram's for 10 years and cannot recommend him highly enough. For someone who is obviously extremely busy with a sizeable patient portfolio (unfortunately I don't always get to see him) he is very patient-focused, he listens and takes his time to explain everything clearly, but also treats you like an intelligent, informed human being. You are never left with the impresssion that you are wasting his time. He is an excellent communicator and has a relaxed manner which puts you at ease as soon as you walk in. He has a very 'holistic', joined-up approach to treatment, which you often don't find in consultants, in that he takes time to understand the other medical conditions you have in order to inform the approach he takes. He is also both proactive and very thorough in investigating any issues you have - I very much trust his judgement and treatment approach and feel he actually does go the extra mile for this patients.
