After seeing two other gastro specialists and following emergency surgery to remove my large intestine due to undetermined IBD, I was referred to Dr Ram. He diagnosed my Crohns disease and has been treating me for nearly 10 years now, and he has been wonderful. He is caring, compassionate, understanding and always ensures you are involved in decisions about your treatment. His bedside manner is warm and comforting, and it's clear that he knows you, and you're not just another patient on a list. I have been through many different treatments and surgeries, and Dr Ram always makes me feel reassured. He never rushes you, and nothing ever appears to be too much trouble for him. I can't imagine getting better treatment from anyone else.

Hi, At a time where I was getting nowhere with understanding what was wrong with me, I was introduced to Dr. Ram. He immediately, took positive steps to determine what was going on and I felt assured that he was doing more than had been done previously with scans and medications. There have been a number of hurdles along the way and Dr. Ram has supported me throughout. I always felt well informed in what was going on in terms of helping me get through the tougher times and planing ahead. I am truly grateful for his time and efforts in getting me to where I am today. Thank you Dr. Ram!

After months of frustration and anxiety I was lucky enough to have a consultation with Dr Ramakrishnan. At my initial interview, I was immediately impressed by his compassion, empathy, and kindness which put me totally at ease. The procedure he carried out showed his true professionalism, knowledge, and bedside manner. I would strongly recommend his work to any future patients

I first met Dr Ramakrishnan (Dr Ram) over 10 years ago. I had been admitted to Warrington General Hospital with alcohol related issues. Dr Ram examined me and carried out various tests, he then informed me that I was at a major crossroads in my life. I could choose the road to recovery or continue along the route to very serious ill health issues that excessive alcohol consumption would cause. He explained my various medical options and potential consequences in a professional and clear manner. I chose recovery. My ongoing medical conditions have required a consultation with Dr Ram on an annual basis ever since, he examines me and decides what clinical procedures are required to monitor my current health status, together with any required remedial actions. He has been a major player in my ongoing recovery program, the yearly appointment continually helps me reflect and look forward to maintaining my alcohol free life and so enjoying the resulting health benefits. It is very important for me to know that this annual consultation date is always in the diary. Dr Ram is not only an excellent Consultant/Doctor, but a compassionate and caring human being. I consider myself very fortunate to have been under his care for over 10 years and I can’t thank him enough for his positive input into my life. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

I have been treated by Dr Ramakrishnan over a 10 year period, and the care I have received has been first-class. Dr Ramakrishnan has the perfect balance of specialist knowledge, empathy, understanding compassion and listening skills. At appointments results, treatment and advice on daily care is always explained clearly, always providing opportunity for the patient to ask questions etc. My ability to manage my health conditions with a positive attitude is down to the care and support of Dr Ramakrishnan.
