Lovely doctor, explained everything well. Went to this lady for a second opinion and finally after months and months got a diagnosis.

I have only had one consultation with Dr. Khan and I felt very comfortable with her. She listened to my symptons, seemed very sure of the diagnosis and was altogether very pleasant.
The proof of course will be if her recommended medication is effective.

It was nice to be able to talk to the Doctor without feeling the Doctor was watching the clock.
Dr Khan was very patient and listened attentively . I did appreciate someone prepared to give the pros and cons of my present medication ,dietary advice and life style.
Also to allay my feeling that I was not wasting her time.

I had a consultation with Dr Sophia Khan in early July in Little Aston Hospital.
I found her to be very approachable, extremely pleasant , clear in her explanations and she answered questions in detail so that I got an overview of my condition. She also has a brilliant sense of humour!
After a long series of iinesses, tests and operations, I was getting nowhere. I wanted to get started on treatment as soon as possible.
Dr Khan did just that.
I feel completely confident in her care and I will continue seeing Dr Khan myself,as well as recommending her to other patients.

I was born and educated in South Warwickshire and completed my initial medical degree in Bristol University. I then completed my General Medical training in the South West and my higher specialist rheumatology training in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
I have been a Consultant Rheumatologist at Solihull Hospital and Spire Little Aston hospital since 2010 and see patients with all rheumatological problems including inflammatory arthritis, gout, connective tissue diseases, soft tissue problems such as bursitis and tendonitis and osteoarthritis. I also run a multidiscliplinary clinic for Ankylosing Spondylitis patients as part of my NHS practice.
I am a Principal Investigator in clinical trials in the fields of rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis, as well as being a committee member of the West Midlands Rheumatology training committee which co-ordinates local higher speciality training.
