Dr. Mashru clearly took the time to listen to what I was saying, and was very patient when I couldn't clearly articulate something or when I had to take a moment to get some information or a reading (e.g. when I had to take a blood pressure reading mid-appointment). He's very softly spoken and pleasant to interact with, and seems very interested in the experience of his patients, not just in going through the motions.

I had my first appointment with Dr Shyamal Mashru today. I couldn’t recommend him highly enough, he made me feel so comfortable and safe. I feel like this is more than just a job for him, I feel that he genuinely cares about his patients and it is his passion to help others. I couldn’t thank him enough. I am overwhelmed but excited to start a new chapter of my life now that I have been diagnosed with ADHD and he made that possible for me.

Dr Mashru was exceptionally pleasant to talk to. I was feeling very stressed about the interview and he was easy to talk to, very human, very knowledgeable. He explained to me how my condition worked in my brain and the methods of treatment available. He was very clear and affable at the same time. I would definitely recommend Dr Mashru to any adults that have suspicions of having ADHD.

I had my review meeting with Dr. Mashru and I was bowled over by his utmost professionalism, candour, warmth and, most importantly, his vast expertise. He briefed me on all the various aspects of ADHD interaction with menopause and associated health risks of use of other stimulants alongside medication. Moreover, he is extremely up to date with recent and emerging evidence based research on adult and child ADHD which was so reassuring. I would highly recommend Dr Mashru.

I was recommended to see Dr Mashru through a previous patient of his, and I’m glad I did. I was very nervous but he put me at ease, and the appointment felt more like a friendly chat than an assessment. He’s very knowledgeable, explained everything clearly and talked me through the titration/medication process in detail so I know what to expect going forward. I recommend him to anyone seeking an ADHD assessment.
