She took over 4 months to provide an assessment in a very delicate case which really required expedience amd sensitivity to protect a vulnerable young person at risk. This complete disregard for humanity and care leaves me no choice but to leave this review of her utterly disgraceful conduct

I am writing today as unfortunately my experience with Dr Cremona has been on the poor side as well. Unlike the previous comment I believe my diagnosis is accurate but sadly agree on all the issues raised by the other patient. Dr Cremona tends not to listen at all when it comes to patient's quality of life and only cares about the symptoms of the illness in question being treated. I have personally struggled with quite significant side effects from the medication I've been given and have asked numerous times if what I'm experiencing is a result of the medication-the answer is always NO (clearly after consultation with other professionals from the appropriate fields of medicine, all the side effects are indeed caused by the one I'm taking). When I went quite desperate to my last appointment and raised the issues backed up by the other medical professionals, she simply told me the choice is mine and I'm the one to make a decision but gave me all the worst (exaggerated) possible outcomes, shall I decide to change the medication. She's never sympathetic (actually can be quite harsh...) and obviously doesn't listen , nor take proper notes as I have asked pretty much on every visit (once a month for more than year) for a specific medication to never be given to me again, which she has agreed to. Last time when I mentioned medication change due to the horrible side effects of my current one, that same one was her first choice - she knows I'm terrified of it as it caused me quite significant weight gain for only a month of taking, which I'm still struggling with till this day. She, herself has assured me before that there are alternatives and she'll never put me on it again, yet that is her first suggestion... I believe a psychiatrist is a person you should trust the most and feel at ease when at your appointment. Unfortunately for me it is anything but!!! I am on the look for a new doctor who will hopefully be more considerate and have my best interest at heart, regarding both my mental health and my physical well-being! Good luck to everyone battling mental health problems and remember your doctor plays a huge part of your recovery so make sure to find the right one for YOU :)

Sadly my experience with Dr Cremona was not at all positive. She arrived very late for my first appointment and I was requested to only provide brief answers to a series of questions that she was reading off from a questionnaire. Unfortunately this approach led to poor understanding and an inaccurate diagnosis (as some of my responses were interpreted to an extreme level that is difficult to understand). More conversation took place during my next appointment but possibly due to the original misdiagnosis, all matters I raised were completely misunderstood and there was some very bizarre extrapolation and merging of responses (along the lines of 1+1=3). I was already vulnerable and was left feeling completely unsupported and being put through the wringer for problems I did not have. On the advice of my GP, I requested a referral to another psychiatrist for a second opinion and have since found one who is a great listener, offering much appreciated support and an accurate diagnosis with such positive consequences. Based on my experiences, I unfortunately cannot recommend Dr Cremona.
