Really knowledgeable and personable doctor. Put me at ease and answered questions fully in plain English; he doesn't burden you with medical jargon. I'd definitely recommend him.

Dr Shah was incredibly helpful in solving an on-going problem for me. He listened and took note of what action had been taken in the past and quickly arranged tests to ensure a correct diagnosis. Approachable and friendly from the first appointment through to the last. His continuing support via email after being discharged is excellent and something I really value. Thanks very much Dr Shah.

Dr Shah is a highly skilled and professional Consultant. Also he is an extremely effective communicator. A good listener, who shows empathy, uses humour appropriately and is very attentive and reassuring. I continue to be confident that he is providing me with excellent treatment and care.

A very kind and caring Doctor who provides excellent clear explanations of the possible causes of crohn's disease and treatment options. He has a relaxed manner and is always available to meet, phone and email. He listens to your concerns and addresses them. Good feedback post colonoscopy/gastroscopy.

I have received fantastic care from Dr Shah and he arranged the necessary tests for me. To be able to contact him by e-mail in addition to seeing him has been a great bonus and to receive such prompt replies with suggestions etc is even better.Nothing even seems to be too much trouble and he goes into great depth when explaining any problems that you have so that you have a full understanding. He always follows up his consultation with asking you to e-mail him if you have any further concerns or questions which I think is brilliant-not something I would have expected from seeing a consultant on the NHS.
I consider myself very fortunate to be under his care as he is extremely supportive and very kind.
