I have always found Dr Dempsey to be a very attentive Dr who listens to what I tell him, then he discuses what if any changes he thinks might help.

Dr Dempsey reviews my health regularly; listens and is patient; recaps on progress of my condition and explains details clearly; communicates well with another consultant who also deals with my condition, to take a co-ordinated approach to my hospital care. He makes you feel like you are an individual as opposed to just another patient. I could not ask for more from a doctor.

Best doctor I have ever had that I can recall - explained everything he was doing and why - made me feel at ease on arrival which helps - covered all aspects of what treatment he could offer and asked which I thought would suit me and my circumstances of treatment- was very impressed that I was in consultation for the time I was there -normally always got the feeling you are in and out before you know. My husband was with me and we were very pleased with his connection he made to include him as well. I can say is thank you so much keep it it and teach your colleagues your ways they are brilliant -Thank you.

I see Dr Dempsey for my pulmonary sarcoidosis. I have found him to be very open to discussing my case with me and I feel he really listens to me and can reassure me about any anxieties. He has also been very generous with his time, even responding to an email I sent him when he was off-duty in order to reassure me about starting some new medication. I am very happy with the care I am receiving from Dr Dempsey and could not fault him in any way. In addition to his expert care, he has a lovely, caring manner. In short, I am 100% happy with the care I am receiving from Dr Dempsey and feel very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I accompanied my mum to her appointment and was very impressed by Dr Dempsey. He really asked a lot about her symptoms and seemed genuinely interested in helping my mum and she seemed to relax at the appointment rather than be scared and nervous. She attends hospital appointments on a regular basis at different clinics and I would be amazed if she received this care at them all. My mum also felt she had received an excellent Doctor. Thank you for having such a genuine caring and relaxing manner it is very much appreciated.
