I first met Dr Dempsey 14 years ago. I have only recently met him again as he has taken over my care due to the retirement of my previous doctor.I was impressed with him all that years ago and I have not changed my opinion.He really listens to you and is always ready to take on board your opinions. I hope he will continue with my car for as long as i need it.I do not think there is any thing he should change in the way he acts in his daily contact with his patients if he is the same with us all.

Dr Dempsey is a fantastic consultant. I have COPD and bronchiectasis with other related problems. He takes time to listen to how I feel, explains everything clearly, offers the chance for me to have input into my care and includes my wife Anne who is my main carer in all treatment suggestions and plans. I never feel rushed in my appointment time and always come away feeling fully informed and satisfied that my medical problems are being dealt with in the best way possible. He greets my wife and I as friends which immediately relaxes you at a stressful time. He and his team should be praised for the exceptional standard of care they deliver.
