Dr Jun Ching Wong was my surgeon when I had an emergency C section at the beginning of this year. He was incredibly polite, professional and encouraging, as it was unexpected for me to need the surgery but after a slow induction of labour it was the best option for the safety of my baby. The surgery was quick, my baby was delivered calmly, my scar was very small and has healed very quickly in the last three weeks. I have had very little discomfort in recovery and cannot thank Dr Jun Ching Wong enough, he made what could have been a very stressful situation very calm and manageable. Thank you very much Dr Jun Ching Wong.

The treatment and care I received from Dr Wong before and during my emergency C- section earlier this year was outstanding. From the moment he introduced himself he was calm and respectful - keen to honour the wishes of my birth plan while also helpfully conveying the reality of my situation. His demeanour and concise explanations were so helpful during what was such a difficult time for me. The surgery itself was excellent. It was efficient, calm, professional. I was able to walk and pick up my baby the next day. I had virtually no pain at any point following the procedure and everyone who examined my incision afterwards commented on how clean and small it was, and how rapidly it healed. There were no complications. I was able to breastfeed immediately and successfully. The scar is small and discreet. I believe my wish for delayed cord clamping was honoured as much as was possible at the time. And the team, under Dr Wong's instruction, allowed my husband immediate skin-to-skin contact with our daughter while I was being stitched up, and then they hurried me to my baby so I was able to do the same. Both of these things were very important to me. Our baby is healthy and happy. Words can’t express how grateful I am to Dr Wong - and his team - for their care from start to finish.
