I was recommended to Mr Vimplis about 4 years ago and can honestly say he is the most genuine caring health professional that I have ever met. I actually spoke to him before I saw him because I had been given some not very nice news and contacted his secretary and was quite upset whilst on the phone talking to her and she must have contacted him and he called me later that evening. He promptly arranged various tests and I had an operation, the aftercare was incredible and the fact he makes himself available via email/phone is something that I have never come across before with any consultant, his care for me has truly been so considerate that I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I met Mr Vimplis over 5 years ago when I sought his expert advice after being treated very poorly in another hospital by a different doctor and “ accidently” got discharged, with what I know now, a burst ovarian cyst. I was in serious pain for months by the time I met him and at my first appointment he was able to diagnose my condition. Mr Vimplis was not just very friendly but understood my concerns and was more than happy to answer all my questions. He had arranged and carried out my operation in under 3 weeks and done an amazing job. Mr Vimplis managed to save all my reproductive organs as well as the part of my bowels that was attached to the cyst. I had many follow up appointments with Mr Vimplis and he was always very caring, reassuring and extremely thoughtful to ensure that I end up with the correct medication for me. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him, I could reach him anytime I wished to seek his advice and he had exceptionally looked after my well-being and followed my progress for 5 years very closely. Mr Vimplis is a truly unique individual who really does care about his patients, therefore I highly recommend him for his medical knowledge as well as for his interpersonal skills.

I saw Mr. Vimplis at The Holly and I am overwhelmed by his understanding and the care given before during and after my treatment. As a health care professional myself I know the importance of receiving a positive patient journey and I cannot fault mine. He listened to my concerns and fears and he included me in the decision making of my treatment. Women's health issues can be very worrying and he put me at ease from our first meeting. I would definitely highly recommend Mr. Vimplis; and if you see him at the Holly as I did on the NHS the staff were equally wonderful Thank you so much I feel amazing!

I could not have received better care, Mr Vimplis was kind, understanding and extremely competent. Cancer is never an easy word to hear but it was made as good as it could be by a Consultant that really cared. My surgery was carried out to the highest standard and the after care has been excellent. To say that I was impressed by Mr Vimplis would be a gross understatement and I cannot recommend him highly enough
