Dr Jenny Messenger

Jenny is a Consultant in Respiratory and General Medicine and has over 20 years experience in her field. During her training, she carried out research into Venous Thromboembolic Disease at the Vascular Institute, King's College Hospital in London. Her sub specialist interests include lung cancer, interventional bronchoscopy, pleural diseases and targeted lung health check screening. She is currently the Clinical Director for speciality medicine at the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton and the Princess Royal Hospital at Haywards Heath. She is the Clinical Director for the targeted lung health checks programme in Sussex and has been the clinical co-chair of the Surrey and Sussex Lung Cancer Alliance since it was developed. Jenny has a keen interest in medical education and is the course director for an annual thoracic ultrasound course. Jenny works closely with other experienced healthcare professionals including Respiratory Physiotherapists who offer invaluable support in managing respiratory conditions.
