I am 74 years old. I came to this country with my family and I was only 17.5 years old and entered the country as my father’s dependent child. I have had a few GPS since then. I can honestly say that he is the best GP I have ever had. I am very distressed to hear he is leaving my surgery. He is caring, efficient and thorough in doing his work. A very attentive listener with the mannerism that makes feel better straight away. He is a top grade doctor. I am deeply sad that he is leaving Forty Willows Surgery but wish him the best of luck for the future. Which ever surgery he joins the patients there will love him and all I can say is “lucky them”. I don’t think I will ever get a GP like him again.

Dr Sandhu was the 3rd GP at Forty Willows to deal with my mum during the last four months and has been by far the best. He has been consistent in his approach and extremely thorough in his care of my mum. He has listened to her concerns, been patient and has followed up throughout it all. Dr Sandhu has also been very reassuring and humanistic in his approach which has been vital with my mum as she has been anxious throughout this period. He’s an invaluable addition to the practice and has been a positive aspect during a very difficult time.

Dr Sandhu is always helpful and supportive. I have a chronic illness and he has always accommodated my needs and provided help taking my symptoms seriously. He ensures his patient is heard and does not ignore or dismiss their concerns, patiently explaining the issue and the process. He has been a great addition to forty willows surgery and I cannot praise him enough.

I have really appreciated the care that Dr Sandhu has taken in dealing with my condition. He was very prompt in referring me to A & E and thereafter following up when I was discharged. This has given me great confidence in how he has been handling my case, which has been extremely diligent. He has taken the time to discuss what needs to be done and arranged the required medications. He has been first class. Tim Young, 13 August
