Pre-op -- pleasant in manner, caring, listened to my anxieties, gave clear explanations of his role, and my options re anaesthesia. During op, didn't feel a thing, did his job well. Following op he came round to see me every day to see how I was, couldn't have wished for better care. Inspired confidence.

Dr Boyce explained the procedure carefully and reassured me that it would be painless. This was absolutely right and I felt complete confidence in him. His personality was calm and kind and he came to see me before I left. I would recommend him as a highly competent anaesthetist.

Feedback for Dr Hugo Boyce My son had a tonsillectomy and was nervous as he had never had a procedure before. Dr Boyce was amazing and really listened to my son and answered his questions patiently and explained about the anaesthetic. Was able to reassure my son and put his mind at ease. Also came to see my son after the procedure to check he was okay and see if he needed anything or had any further questions. Thank you so much Dr Boyce.

Hugo was compassionate and professional. He explained everything in a thorough manner that was easy to understand and gave every opportunity to ask questions. I was really impressed when he came back to see me after the operation to see how I was feeling and to confirm what had been done during the procedure. The most important thing for me was how he welcomed me into the pre-op area and talked to me, making every effort to keep me calm and relaxed. Hugo is an amazing doctor and person.
