Dr Maksoud is not only very knowledgeable, he is empathetic, kind, patient and a true gentleman. I had been let down by the medical profession many times, being passed from pillar to post without success, getting nowhere. I was starting to think it was all in my head ( as had been suggested by one Doctor). However, Dr Maksoud really listens to your symptoms, taking as much time as is necessary to piece together the medical jigsaw until he finds out the cause and can then treat you correctly. Dr Maksoud goes to great lengths to explain about your condition ensuring that you understand every aspect. He isn't all about medication either, he will suggest the necessary vitamins and minerals that are lacking as well as explaining why each one is essential for your health. I returned to him recently as I was struggling with annother health problem which my GP had dismissed but was really impacting on my ability to socialise and live as I wanted to. Dr Maksoud took several blood tests that the GP had refused to do, talked to me about the course of action and within 6 months I felt like my old self again. I had more energy, the weight fell away from me and my zest for life was back. I have recommended him to many of my friends. He feels more like a guardian angel than my Doctor.

Dr Maksoun is incredible! Not only has he taken care of my health he is kind and empathetic at all times. It's rare to find a professional who combines outstanding quality of medical care with an holistic approach. I could spend all day praising this amazing consultant and wouldn't hesitate recommending him if you have as I did unresolved are misdiagnosed health issues!

I have been a patient of Dr Maksouds since 2006. At that time I was quite poorly and I initially needed 3 monthly blood tests. Once I had stabilized, thanks to Dr Maksouds knowledge and care my consultations became once a year. With an annual blood test and his extensive knowledge of Endocrinology I know and trust he keeps me as healthy as I can physically be. I have so much respect and admiration for this man I am blessed with his friendship as well as his care. I must also mention his support team, they are always friendly and respond quickly to any query I have either by email or phone call.

Two different health professionals, recommended Dr Maksoud to me after hearing of my long term health problems. He leaves no stone unturned and continues to listen and look for the best way forward, managing health conditions, using traditional and alternative drugs. I have been able to lose weight after many years of struggling and keep it off. He is a credit to the profession and I have recommended him to others. I saw him at Regent Street, Nottingham.

It has been a pleasure to meet Doctor Maksoud and benefit from his medical expertise. He takes the time to listen carefully and then treat the patient holistically. I particularly appreciate the fact that that he does not rely on drug therapy alone and in my case has helped me to come off or reduce medication. It is reassuring that my thyroid problem is under control and that Dr Maksoud is helping me to manage this condition. He is a warm, friendly physician with a good sense of humour and I would highly recommend him.
