Dr Maksoud is not only very knowledgeable, he is empathetic, kind, patient and a true gentleman. I had been let down by the medical profession many times, being passed from pillar to post without success, getting nowhere. I was starting to think it was all in my head ( as had been suggested by one Doctor). However, Dr Maksoud really listens to your symptoms, taking as much time as is necessary to piece together the medical jigsaw until he finds out the cause and can then treat you correctly. Dr Maksoud goes to great lengths to explain about your condition ensuring that you understand every aspect. He isn't all about medication either, he will suggest the necessary vitamins and minerals that are lacking as well as explaining why each one is essential for your health. I returned to him recently as I was struggling with annother health problem which my GP had dismissed but was really impacting on my ability to socialise and live as I wanted to. Dr Maksoud took several blood tests that the GP had refused to do, talked to me about the course of action and within 6 months I felt like my old self again. I had more energy, the weight fell away from me and my zest for life was back. I have recommended him to many of my friends. He feels more like a guardian angel than my Doctor.
