I came to Dr Klemperer a little over a year ago for a potential ADHD diagnosis. She diagnosed me with ADHD-C and a few other things. To say she has changed not just my life, but the lives of my family for the better, would be an understatement. Our lives run far more smoothly these days; I am able to organise and think clearly. I am not nearly as hard on myself, now I know there is a real reason for the chaos in my brain. Upon talking with Dr Klemperer for the first time, I quickly realised that this woman knew how my brain worked better than I did. She told me things about myself before I had even had a chance to mention them, and she has all the answers I needed to start being kinder to myself. Dr Klemperer listens with incredible patience, she listens to it all and as an ADHD patient, I can really do a lot of talking! She never makes me feel hurried, even when I’m watching the clock and trying to think of all the things I need to say AND have her summarise before our time runs out. Dr Klemperer is knowledgeable, kind, patient and so empathetic; I can’t imagine a better psychiatrist to navigate me through such a massive part of myself. I also want to add, that I have been seeing Dr Klemperer online via Zoom, because of the pandemic. This website doesn’t provide that as a location option.

Dr. Klemperer diagnosed me with ADHD and ASD, helping explain many of the issues I've had throughout my life, and to learn more about strategies to navigate a predominantly neurotypical world. She also offered me the possibility of making use of medication for ADHD, which had a profound positive effect in my family relationship. Myself, as well as my partner and children, will be forever grateful for her help.

Meeting Dr. Klemperer changed my life. Her expert approach and assessment opened up new treatment options that have helped me incredibly. She was open minded and didn't assume because I'm in my 40s that there was nothing new to discover about me and my challenges. It turns out that was exactly what I needed! To speak with, Dr. Klemperer is warm, interested and listens. She explains things clearly, reflecting back what you need to know to find a path forward. I felt genuine empathy from her and never any judgement - as a gay man I particularly valued that. If you're interested to know what I was helped with: anxiety, depression and ADHD. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Klemperer!

I saw Dr Klemperer on a regular basis for over a year as I was suffering from depression. I had had counselling previously with limited success but my sessions with Dr Klemperer were different. She really listened to me and helped me understand what I could do differently in a very practical and calm way and without judgment. She also prescribed different antidepressants for me and monitored me closely when I was finding the right antidepressant. She is very responsive and kept my GP informed all the way though. When I was discharged from her we put together a very comprehensive plan which I have subsequently used and has helped prevent me from totally spiralling down again. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I was extremely fortunate in having Dr. Klemperer for over a decade as my consultant when I was an NHS patient. As well as simply medicating me for a serious psychiatric condition, she also spent an enormous amount of time and effort giving me talking therapy (CBT). It's fair to say that over two decades later I still find that therapy to be an extremely useful tool in helping me cope on a near daily basis. I miss her! Thank you Dr. Klemperer. Stuart A. Adams.
