Dr uncles is exactly the doctor you’d wish to have if ever in a crisis. Compassionate, intelligent and open minded, combined with a fantastic calming nature.
As a student nurse I meet many doctors regularly, however it is rare to find kindness, patience and the ability to teach from a molecular level the way Dr uncles can.
Would not hesitate to recommend him to anybody. It’s been an honour learning from him.

Thank you for your feedback. We all have a responsibility to teach and guide the next generation of healthcare professionals so they can fulfill their maximum potentional. Delivery of healthcare requires a thorough understanding of the underlying pathology associated with a patient's medical and/or surgical condition and good technical ability, including that of effective communication to deliver the care they need. Above all, we should always show compassion to the patients who place their trust in us to deliver their treatment safely and efficiently.

Dr Uncles looked after me during hip revision surgery last week. I was extremely nervous about having a spinal anaesthetic due to a previous bad experience but he reassured me and put me at ease. I felt no discomfort during the placement of the spinal needle and he communicated at every stage of the procedure. I have had no issues with the anaesthetic post operatively. I found Dr Uncles to be kind and considerate at all stages of my care.

Dr Uncles has been my anaesthetist on at least three occasions. I have always been very well looked after and felt safe. My recovery has , I think, always been the best it could be.

The doctor listened to my anxieties about which anaesthetic procedure to have, gave me very helpful explanations and was very reassuring about the spinal option, which I decided to have. He told me I wouldn’t feel a thing, and I didn’t. He had a very kind bedside manner.

I am a specialist Anaesthetist with interests in Obstetric, Ambulatory and Inpatient anaesthesia. I employ a variety of anaesthetic techniques including general or regional anaesthesia, although I often use them in combination to optimise and enhance patients' peri and post-operative experience.
I am dedicated to putting the patient first through the provision of safe and reassuring care delivered in conjunction with my colleagues and associates.
I was present at the inauguration of the Helsinki Declaration in June 2010. This enshrines the values essential to the promotion of the highest professional and safety standards expected of anaesthetists. It is my hope to match or even exceed the expectations of patients who place their trust in me.
