Dr Chalil (or Dr Chill, as I nicknamed him four years ago) is a star. I was referred to him after I collapsed with an irregular heartbeat, whilst being a full time carer for my husband, who had Parkinson's Disease and chronic advanced Glaucoma. After I had several episodes of AF, Dr Chalil suggested putting me on the waiting list for an ablation procedure, which he thought could improve my quality of life. I had the procedure just over a year ago and have gradually felt a lot more like my old self as a result. I am so grateful for Dr Chalil's professionalism, courtesy, concern and humour throughout all consultations and the procedure itself. I have always felt that I was in safe hands - whatever the outcome. Lind Lunn
From my initial consultation, I felt that Dr Chalil listened to me and understood the problem right away. He took time to explain my options and what the next steps would be. He is a genuinely caring person and I have never met a doctor quite so enthusiastic about his work. Before, during and after my procedure he took the time to ensure that I was aware of what was going on and did his utmost best to make me feel comfortable, both physically and mentally throughout. It was obvious that he works well with his colleagues and staff which made the experience that much more comfortable. Afterwards he was reassuring and again made sure I was fully informed of exactly what had been done.
