Humble, calm, professional, kind, observant, approachable, insightful, professional, tenacious and occasionally funny. I put all my trust (what little trust I had left) and faith in Dr. Luk at a very dark time of deeply traumatic, mental crisis. His knowledge and experience was incredible, his commitment to my care, to try various approaches and to find a truly personalised (it felt that way anyway) approach to support my recovery is the "secret sauce" that makes him such an incredible professional. Put your faith in Dr Luk, he won't let you down, he won't judge and he won't stop caring. A true credit to his profession and a genuinely nice person.

Dr. Luk is an excellent Psychiatrist. He is very kind and understanding and easy to talk to. I found him extremely knowledgeable. He is very efficient and always remembered where we were in terms of my progress. He is definitely the best Psychiatrist I have ever worked with and I would thoroughly recommend him

I think that Dr Luk is an excellent clinician. Really caring, and an excellent listener. I have met many psychiatrists in the course of my work as a psychologist/psychotherapist, and also some as a patient over the last 5 years. I have found many who are very patronising and too entrenched in the medical model, who are used to treating symptoms rather than people, and have very poor interpersonal skills. Meeting with Dr Luk was very refreshing, because he has a completely different attitude, he really showed he wanted to understand my concerns, and made me feel that I was at least equally in charge of decisions regarding my care as he was. I have felt extremely comfortable with Dr Luk and I really trust him, because he has completely earned my trust. I feel very lucky to have found him.

Dr Luk is so nice. I had a really dreadful experience with my consultant in the Nightingale hospital and since they were really nasty to me when I complained I didn’t feel safe to go back. It was such a relief to find someone I really like in the Cardinal Clinic who is obviously good at what he does and has a great deal of experience. He asks the kind of questions that make you think, but is also cheerful, positive and has a great sense of humour. He always listens to me and tries to give me what I need as an inpatient. I would really recommend him to anyone.
