I saw Dr Cheema for anxiety and depression . I am very pleased with her compassion and thorough explanation of my condition and medication that was going to be prescribed and suggesting a great therapist. I’m very well now and off the meds now. I would recommend Dr Cheema

I sought a diagnosis and treatment for ADHD with Dr. Cheema. I had an appointment in person at first and then online appointments after that. She always seemed to keep the appointments online very short and never offer more than 10-15 minutes on average despite her payments stating 20 mimutes. After a few appointments I was diagnosed with ADHD (although not clear as I was never actually told by Dr. Cheema I had ADHD and also had to chase for my diagnosis report that took a fair few weeks to be sent to me). The ADHD report showed inaccuracies in it also. The first prescription posted to me did not state the level of medicine, which meant my pharmacist was unable to dispense anything until corrected. So I was instructed to post back the prescription (at my own expense, despite not being at fault) to receive the correct one. Then when needing to move up the increments of the controlled drug I had various issues, such as, the wrong level of medicine stated on the prescription that was posted. Each time it would involve further emails back and forth to fix a problem that should never have arisen. Once I deemed the level enough I asked for the shared care document to be created. Dr. Cheema sent me a document with the wrong pronoun all over it, which in my eyes, shows it was never proofread. Once that problem was rectified, Dr. Cheema stated a date on the shard care document for a much shorter date than her own shared care stipulates. Only when I questioned this did it change to the correct one that matches her own shared care protocol. Well within the annual checkup date, I received an email stating I owed money for the next appointment. Again I questioned this and had a follow up email with an attachment blaming the receptionist (who I personally rate well). Before the appointment was cancelled. Not in any of these incidents did Dr. Cheema apologise for her mistakes or take steps to show any care in making amends with me for them. I found her manner quite confrontational, especially when I described how I had felt with certain medicines and the side effects they gave me. Her instance answer was to deny it was possible, despite it stating on the medicine packet that it very much was possible. I rarely felt listened to and feel compelled to share my feelings with others so they do not suffer the same fate I did.

ADHD treatment didn’t work for my symptoms initially so Dr Cheema reassessed me and it was found I had OCD with obsessional intrusion thoughts since my childhood. So Dr Cheema explained OCD carefully and treated me with antidepressant medication. I feel that I have made a really good recovery and my OCD symptoms have virtually gone and there’s been improvement with my concentration , organisation and my anxiety and I can focus well at any task. I am very grateful to Dr Cheema for having an open mind to reassess my symptoms. I’m glad not to have lifetime treatment for ADHD.

A Waste of Time and Money with Potentially Harmful Consequences. I went to Dr. Saroj Cheema for an evaluation of my anxiety and ADHD symptoms, but what I received was nothing short of a disservice. I had four frustrating sessions where it seemed she didn't grasp my medical history or current symptoms. She was reluctant even to assess me for ADHD, questioning whether I expected medication as if that were out of line. Her conclusion? That I was 'normal but perfectionist' and should 'let the perfectionism go.' I sought a second opinion from an ADHD specialist, who confirmed a severe form of ADHD after a comprehensive assessment. I'm now on treatment, and the change has been life-altering. Dr. Cheema's approach not only cost me unnecessary time and expense but could have had severe long-term consequences if I hadn't sought a second opinion. I shudder to think how many of her current patients are suffering because of her dismissive and inadequate approach.
