I have worked with Dr Mistry in the North Camden Recovery Team based at 'The Hoo'. I have always been impressed by his compassion and professionalism. He works collaboratively with his patients and I have heard good reports from them. I would certainly recommend him.

Dr Amit is very respectful, attentive and empathise well towards his patients. He listen and participate with the team and makes constructive decisions regarding patients care. He has worked well within the team and is a good team player. Dr Amit has the right attitude for his job, has great patience and dedication. He never refuses when staffs asked him for a favour, he would always help when he can. I am sure that Dr Amit will continue to perform well in his career and will be a great doctor and a good asset for his future team.

I have worked with Dr Amit Mistry Specialist Psychiatry Registrar in the North Camden Recovery and Rehabilitation Team and have always found him to be an excellent highly skilled psychiatrist who is caring, conscientious and hard working. He is thorough, proactive and knowledgeable and a real asset to our multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals.

Dr Mistry has had a significant impact on the service in the time he was based its us. I have witnessed first hand his ability to actively listen to clients and provide meaningful interventions. I can not think of any area that Dr Mistry needs to improve on. If he continues in the manor in which I have seen him then he will have a very successful career.

Dr Amit D. Mistry (@DrAMistryPsych) is chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Sport & Exercise Psychiatry Group, a visiting lecturer in Sport & Exercise Medicine (SEM) and mental health advisor to Oxford University Sport.

He holds dual specialist training in General Adult & Old Age Psychiatry with particular clinical expertise in eating disorders, athlete mental health, cognitive impairment and lifestyle interventions for optimal performance.

Recently, he co-published Case Studies in Sports Psychiatry with Cambridge University Press. This was the first-ever sports psychiatry book to have been co-authored by sports clinicians and elite athletes.
