Dr Amit D. Mistry (@DrAMistryPsych) is chair of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (RCPsych) Sport & Exercise Psychiatry Group, a visiting lecturer in Sport & Exercise Medicine (SEM) and mental health advisor to Oxford University Sport. He holds dual specialist training in General Adult & Old Age Psychiatry with particular clinical expertise in eating disorders, athlete mental health, cognitive impairment and lifestyle interventions for optimal performance. Recently, he co-published Case Studies in Sports Psychiatry with Cambridge University Press. This was the first-ever sports psychiatry book to have been co-authored by sports clinicians and elite athletes.
