Dr Everitt was nothing short of amazing. He saw me within a short time-span, somehow also managing to set up an MRI appointment for 30 minutes after my appointment with him finished. What’s more, less than 1.5 hours after the MRI, he followed up calling me with the results at 19:30 at night. Don’t think you’ll find a more reliable doctor out there. - Jordan

A caring empathetic Dr who pays attention to detail. I was unfortunate to have seizure and needed to see a neurologist. He showed me so much care and ordered all the relevant tests. If you need a consultant who listens and pays attention to the smallest detail, then you have come to the right place. I am ever so grateful.

I have been his patient for 10/11 years and I trust him with my life. He is kind, always looking for something new on the market for me. He I recommend whole heatedly I dont think there is anyone better or who I would rather see.. St. Mary's is lucky to have him as I am lucky to see him. He knows I dont do morning's and gets me his last appointment. Its not what you know sometimes but who and all the staff when they know Dr Everitt asks for something always bumps you up the queue. Nobody has a bad word to say about him. That would include me. Hope this helps you if you're searching. He has helped me no end. Elizabeth Fielding.

To whom it may concern Dr Alex Everitt Department of Neurology, St Mary’s Hospital, Praed St Until I met Dr Everitt I had endured epilepsy for 37 years and had had a series of medications and treatments. I have kept all the correspondence I have had with the NHS and the medical staff involved since 2014, when things became more difficult than ever before because my circumstances changed. The GP I then had referred me to a local neurologist. This was utterly useless since the neurologist did not, as promised by his secretary, contact me at all, despite prompting. My partner did some investigating, having discovered the Patients’ Charter and the 2014 Choice Framework. She found the name of Dr Alex Everitt and we made an appointment to see him. From the first I found him humane, intelligent, pensive and understanding. He genuinely wanted to find out the cause of my condition and the best ways to deal with it. I have a wad of correspondence from him, either accounts of consultations with himself, or reports of those meetings passed on to my GPs. He has never been anything other than utterly professional in every way, always giving as much time as he can. He is generous with his time, and as I know well, totally thorough. I could not wish for a better medical practitioner. Moreover he continuously reviews my medication so that it is as effective as it can be. Indeed, I have had no episodes at all since the October before last. This may not be particularly relevant since I would give the same view, regardless of the outcome of any treatment; nevertheless it is probably not a random success but based, I am sure, on Dr Everitt's careful thought about the variously effective medications I have had. In addition to my initial impressions, therefore, I would add that Dr Everitt's experience and practice has given him a masterly expertise in dealing with this patient, at least. Dr Everitt’s concern for his patients is perhaps best evidenced from an incident two years ago. I had had a couple of difficult episodes and sent him an e-mail, as he has always encouraged me to do. He replied within a couple of hours – from his holiday in the Balearics. He gave me thoughtful advice but obviously could do no more! Whenever I visit St Mary's I fill in one of the evaluation cards. I hope they are read. The above evaluation says in far more detail what I would like to explain every time. Anthony Holbourn
