Sheran took the time to explain to my husband who has dementia what she was doing. When he had a problem she contacted his consultant and did all she could to solve the issues. Sheran is professional and has immense skill knowledge which she is willing to share. She never minds me messaging her to ask for advice and I know that the well being of my husband is a priority to her. I absolutely trust Sheran with my husband’s care and feel incredibly privileged to have her caring for him. An A STAR NURSE.

After a long time struggling, I finally had a catheter put in for 5 days. This was something I could not bare the thought of and for that reason, i had it put in under general anesthesia. My biggest worry was being awake whilst having it removed.. but.. Sharon, from the second I met her made me feel completely relaxed and explained everything to put me at ease. Sharon is friendly, caring and an asset to the NHS. Thank you so much!

Sharon, saw me as soon as i got to the hospital arriving early at 7.50. My Catheter had been fitted under general anesthetic during my prostate biopsy, and this was the my first experience of wearing one of these devices for 3 days. I was unsure what to expect having it removed, i was so glad to have the catheter removed and Sharon removed the device, and made me feel relaxed in the process. I would also like to thank the surgeon James and the Anesthetist, plus everyone that looked after me so well at this great little hospital, we are so lucky, to have you here and you are all much appreciated.

A home visit to show me how to self catheterise . Sharon put me at ease the moment she arrived , a knowledgeable, sympathetic lady who gave me reassurance and confidence. Spoke in depth about the procedures with advice to ensure the best outcome. Patience whilst we undertook the task, with ongoing assurances that I can contact her at anytime. Clear training in ISC for low urinary flow rate and large residual. Home follow up for unexpected absence of residual urine when performed ISC at home. On the spot measurement for residual urine using portable bladder scanner, only a little found. Reassured and trained should complete blockage due to BPH occur. Very well organized service, logistics and team.
