My experience of Carol as my titration nurse is that she is always prompt with support & replies, attentive to any concerns I’ve had & patient with me as I consider options. She took great care to consider my overall wellbeing when evaluating side effects of medication, and was also knowledgable of my obscure co-morbid physical health condition. I would recommend Carol to everyone, you are in safe & compassionate hands with her. Thanks Carol!

I found the whole titration process for ADHD medication managed by Carol to be incredibly smooth - much more than I could have anticipated. Carol was very efficient and prompt every step of the way. When the medication itself became difficult, Carol was very understanding and quick to find a solution.

Carol was my prescribing nurse during my titration for ADHD medication. These things aren't always easy when they're not face-to-face, but Carol has definitely made the process easy. As well as providing a lot of information prior to the start of my titration, she was communicative and responsive throughout, and would always address my concerns if I had any. She was very patient and understanding, and I felt very safe in her care.

Carol was absolutely superb. She responded to everything extremely quickly and was very helpful with her suggestions. She provided excellent guidance on alternative courses of treatment and made me aware of all pros, cons and any potential risks. I could not recommend her more highly. I feel that I now have my life on track and she has played a huge part in me achieving this.

Profile

I am a registered nurse prescriber. I started my journey as a mental health nurse by completing the recognised nursing course in the UK. Since qualifying as a nurse in 2011, I have worked in acute inpatient and community settings. I have helped pioneered the start of an NHS Adult ADHD service in 2011 and developed the service together with a Consultant Psychiatrist and provided a nurse led service for adults. Since 2011, I have participated in training conferences to help train other clinicians who were planning to start an adult ADHD service in their locality or those who have just started working in an adult ADHD service. I have given talks about the nurse led Adult ADHD service that I have helped pioneered in conferences/training sessions.

I was voted Clinician of The Year in 2017 in the NHS Trust I was working with, and this reflects my dedication and commitment to continue to develop my nursing practice and deliver the best nursing intervention to those in need.
