Overall I was extremely happy with the care provided. I did feel the doctor didn’t really listen to all of my concerns and experience that led me to being in A&E though.

Suggested improvements
I just wish the Doctor gave me reassurance

When I was seen everything went well.

Suggested improvements
Time was there nearly 8 hours before being seen by a doctor. Arrived at 4am other people were seen before I was and they were there only a couple of hours.

Review of King George’s - Accident & Emergency - Childrens
4th December 2023

Urgent Treatment Care in King George Hospital is appalling. I took my 8 month old baby to be checked as directed by 111 and the lack of care, empathy and urgency is horrific. I’m very disappointed at how the staff treated my baby and how long I had to wait in the urgent treatment centre with my sick baby. There should be a priority for children especially babies and yet you are made to wait the same amount of time with all the patients.

Suggested improvements
Prioritise children, especially babies under 1 Provide a separate area with a reception for paediatric care Do not make children and babies wait

The appointment was on time and the nursing staff and doctor explained things clearly and the doctor made additional recommendations for my future treatment

Suggested improvements
The waiting area is much more spacious than when the clinic was held at Queens

It was a very long wait sitting in reception about 8 hours. I was given a cubicle after that. They didn't get to the bottom of the pain and said I should go home and take painkillers. I didn't find that very helpful. They did, however, do a full ct scan, bloods and xray. But because they all came back clear they sent me home. I don't feel Dr's should just rely on test results. They need to look at the patient as a whole. I was in pain. Why? Just because the results came back clear didn't take away the pain.

Suggested improvements
Given me a cubicle a lot earlier. Tried harder to find a diagnosis. Not just sent me home and told me to take painkillers. But on the whole despite the very long wait, I was treated well and had all the possible tests I could have. I am very grateful for the NHS I know the government are slowly heading towards privatisation behind our backs and while we are distracted with Palestine. This will have a tremendous impact on those of us with lower incomes and create further division between the poor and rich. Not to mention the farm ore serious implications and fact that it will lead to more deaths and illness.

Review of Rheumatology Outpatients
1st December 2023

Because we were delighted to find the service so good.

Suggested improvements
Everything was really fine , but we went into main hospital and followed rheumatology sign that led nowhere! A male nurse was at a loss, eventually found the sister of rheumatology who said to go out of hospital and turn left. Eventually found it but totally exhausted. Signing was rubbish. But staff and rheumatologist kind and helpful.
