The pain team have been fantastic. For the first time in 12 years I have felt believed and listened to. Debbie has such a wealth of knowledge and her online sessions are great, I have learned so much. Kasia's medications session was also really helpful, I learned alot about pain medications and it reinforced that I was doing the right thing in reducing and coming off of them, which I have now achieved and feel so much better for. I've had a couple of sessions with Lisa, I really enjoyed the Tai Chi taster session and I'm looking forward to my follow up 1to1.
Thank you so much to the whole team, I feel I am finally making progress and getting back control of my life!
I received compassionate care, and empathy by the mental health team, and was kept informed with any plans or progress. I understand that the system is fully stretched but waiting times for any counselling needs urgent review, vulnerable people can not wait too long for appointments.

I Need some support with hormonal changes and anger management my one to one with emma was very helpful and has helped me identify the reasons why i get upset and angry
Im glad i went to my doctors for help.
Paula Pickford initially and then Jacqueline Sawkins have been Amazing.
Just the waiting times are crazy and sometimes children are getting worse
It has taken me many years to ask for help, with my depression.
I am now having doubts, that the system will help me.
I did not feel that the person I spoke to, really listened to me and he seemed to have pre conceived ideas about me.
For example; he assumed that I had been self medicating with drink or drugs. He came to this conclusion, because he had accessed my medical records and noted that I had been to A&E, twice over the last 6 years. I must admit, I didn’t realise that twisting my ankle and 4 years later breaking my wrist, meant I must have an addiction.
When I assured him that I did not and never have, he said it was highly unusual for someone of my age. I now assume, his assumptions are on record and this disturbs me greatly.
The therapist gave me interesting resources which will have benefits when therapy is completed. I was able to see which areas in my life require development.if anything could be improved , it would be to stay with this help longer .
Because I don’t have them
