I hear voices.
Dismissed, and refused to listen
Would not admit even told did not feel safe
My cbt therapist Philippa was amazing and if I'm honest I need her back. She understood me so well and I often looked forward to our sessions. Then there was a change I'm my mental health and was more suicidal and was changed over to Ann. And well where do we start with Ann. For a start she was very bias about the things I do with my life and how they affect me e.g smoking cannabis so at any moment she could she's say don't you think it's because of that. I often then found her mumbling and going "yes .. erm... yeah ... yeah okay" for about 20 seconds after me replying to her. Originally I though this was because she was righting stuff down but then she'd get me to repeat myself and it'd just ruin the session. After I was changed over from Philippa to Ann I got no use out of the sessions and didn't even want to talk on some days. My scores above are souly for philppa Because Ann was usless and I don't even know what's happening now as she's discharged me cause I said it wasn't helping when in actual fact I didn't have the heart to tell her she's useless to me. I'd really like to go back to having cbt with Philippa Newbury but I guess I'll just have to wait and see
I've been diagnosed with mental illness, in my opinion I suffer from anxiety and I believe that psychosis is a misdiagnosis, however I agree that I have some psychological issues.
I took my extremely anxious son to the vaccination centre (riverwalk Bury st Edmunds) Nurse Louise was so kind, patient, calm and professional. She gave him time and empathy and he had his vaccination with no stress at all. This will make coming back for his second dose much easier.
I am very grateful to everyone working at the centre on Saturday, it was very well organised.
Kind staff
I received excellent care from everyone involved in my care from my first hospital visit to the care nurses who visited me they were extremely caring and made me feel at ease , I also had a visit from a psychiatrist who changed my medication , I am still adjusting to this but would like to express my thanks to all of the nurses who cared for me and the compassion they showed they do an amazing job
My therapist never missed or rescheduled a session.
She was always nice and compassionate
She definitely helped me find ways to cope and hopefully in the long run fix the problem
I had a few bad experiences previously with reaching out for help on my mental health. I felt very much heard this time around!
I have what I believe to believe to be long term covid. I have had it now for over 2 years.
