I found Affy very easy to talk to I look forwards to our sessions as I get to share talk and find others ways of coping with what’s going on for me I’m using the skills and techniques and guidance from Affy and I’m in a much better place today

Suzi was great I cannot fault her at all given she could only see me every six weeks. It’s not acceptable to wait to see her due to the impact my condition has had on my life and my work. I have had to supplement NHS physio by going private which cost me £1200 over the 18 mths. If I had not been able to afford this I would now be unemployed and on benefits!!! My experience with Ed the Advanced Physio was a disaster as he examined me so roughly he triggered vertigo which led to me having to take a weeks annual leave as I could not sit at a screen without feeling ill. It has been almost 8 months since he examined me and I have only just stopped feeling unbalanced. This has deeply affected me as I was just starting to improve! I am currently signed off work for the last 6 weeks due to pain, vertigo and mental health. I have been to see a private vestibular physio and have now been diagnosed with Sternocleidomastoid Syndrome and am paying yet again for rehab as the NHS has no specialist knowledge on this condition. For me, the NHS has let me down this last 18 months, and it is only my own desire to get better, pushing for an answer, and ability to pay that I have been able to move forward ( I hope! Still in tonnes of pain). Your service is shameful for a person like myself. Suzi is a fabulous physio but cannot to a professional job due to the organisation of the NHS. The government/ICB needs to realise that cutting budgets to NHS for rehab services will only create a greater reliance on benefits when people are prevented from working due to health conditions which could treated to enable people to keep working.

Louise Rimmer and her colleague visited us a couple of weeks ago to assess my father's needs. Loverly people so understanding of our plight,took time to listen and offer pracical solutions. They have made a reall difference in a difficult situation. Thank you!

Unbelievable thanks to Emelie Mustafa!!! She has helped me in I don’t even know how many ways possible! From my starting point to now, I feel so much more confident, I can trust myself, and I can switch off. I don’t feel like I need to second guess every movement anymore, and I can actually LIVE!!

Throughout my assessment, a lot of trauma was brought up, in order for Charlotte to have the full picture of my life. I felt truly listened to by Charlotte, and not once felt judged or misunderstood. Her calm and friendly approach made me feel safe to talk openly. I want to thank her for making a really worried about phone call end with feeling heard and cared for. Thank you Charlotte.

The service was great and very professional - from the beginning to the end. Qian was outstanding. She is really passionate about her work and explains exactly what to do and why it is important. I felt that everything made sense what she said and look forward to getting better. Am already improving. Just one minor constructive criticism: If you send text messages for appointment reminders please always add which location e.g. Epping or Nuffield House etc the patient should attend. Thank you very much. Really great service - especially for women with weak pelvic floor muscles after a hysterectomy. Please keep on doing this good work - hopefully with Qian!
