My GP, Dr Austera, has been an absolute godsend. His approach is very patient-led, and he is very understanding and open to discussing mental health (I've had experience of GPs who were the opposite). As for the surgery as a whole, I personally am not a fan of the stay-and-wait appointment sessions (every day 9-11am). They fill up so quickly that I've often been waiting 45 minutes to be seen even though I arrived just after 9am. They also mean there are less morning appointment times available.

I have absolutely no qualms about the service provided by the doctors and nurses at this surgery - I regularly visit this surgery for an ongoing prescription and the health staff are professional, understanding and take the time to talk you through any questions or concerns you may have. The receptionists, however, I have found to be rude, unhelpful and seemingly unwilling to offer anything other than the very basics of service. In my experience it is difficult to book an appointment within 2 weeks of calling the surgery, meaning that I often sit and wait for a drop-in appointment to get seen on a day that is convenient for me. Overall, great doctors, terrible receptionists!

The receiptionists are first class: helpful and understanding. The nurses have always provided very good medical advice and initial care. They are also very professional which inspires confidence when discussing medical concerns. I have had two GPs - Dr Watson and now Dr Boyd. I am very grateful to both. They have ensured that I get the right treatment and medication. The same attitude applied when I have seen the other Doctors in the practice Overall the practice has a culture of excellence which has been developed over many years and continues to develop

At the moment I am seeing Dr Jo Austera and she has consistently been incredibly helpful and kind. The reception staff are always helpful and engaging and it has always been very easy to make and/or alter my appointments!
