if you are thinking of joining this practice...think again..receptionist are none compliant when you are trying to make an appointment...their rude, cut you off when the conversation isn't going their way, they make mistakes with bookings {appointments} and then blame the patient, Half of them think their Doctors, they need reminding they are only reception staff.. having read all previous poor reviews they are well justified... The practice manager needs to earn her salary and manage Dr Garner, is well respected and sort after.... i am well aware of the currant climate regarding the N.H.S. and mental health,but there is no excuse for Drs who have no empathy or very little interest in their patient, who cannot get them out the door quick enough

from my experiences with this practice. stay clear its an absolute joke . they never answer their phones when you ring them . 45 minutes you can wait and then they cut you off . when you finally get an appointment its 2 to 3 weeks later., my advice is go to a and e you will be diagnosed properly . my doctor said its in your head . i went for a second opinion in manchester city centre and i had a serious condition . just stay away from this practice . in my opinion i do not think the doctors are qualified. its your life we are talking about . the place needs to be checked out by a governing body . its a death trap . BEWARE

Could possibly utilise online booking for appointments. I realise there is high demand for on the day but wonder if the Internet could be used to reduce call times. I realise it cannot fully replace phone calls but could make the wait times in the morning less for those that have little choice. Having said that I have always managed to get an urgent appointment when needed even if it is after the usual on the days have been booked.

I would like to make a complaint regarding your receptionists attitude they need more training in customer care,,I am a cancer patient, I phoned the surgery today asking for a appointment to see a doctor as I have severe swollen feet and I cannot walk because I'm in so much pain,she said I had to waite 2 weeks to see a doctor, I ask her if I could speak to a supervisor she said no.she said her name was Tracy, I could only be offered a telephone call from Dr whitiker, ,,,,,,no good enough,,,,,,

Receptionist are rude / unfriendly and unhelpful and are many patients 1st point of contact. Nurse wasnt interested in my illness and couldnt get me out of the door quick enough. Today 19/2/16 told to phone back on 24/2/16 as they have 0 appointments left for next week with a GP & no nurse appointmnets for 2 weeks because she is on holiday. Absolutley appalling service.
