Very quick appointment was very impressed for my first appointment and visit to the surgery

The place could do with a make over it’s very depressing and dark inside and old fashioned

Receptionists are always very helpful and friendly The Nurse mum and I saw was kind to Mum and also took an interest in a query I had and a response was received the same day

Whilst I found it difficult to get through in a morning for an appointment. I was still given advice as to where I could get seen and help.

I have been at a surgery where the appointment side was run better and it was so fast and easy to get through. They did a triage service. So you ring up and a link is sent by the receptionist to be filled in. Then a doctor triage's these as to who needs a same day appointment or who needs a general appointment. They also send text messages from this with advice and guidance on if a pharmacist cab help. People who can't do the form online just let the receptionist know and she fills it in on their behalf over the phone. They still get triaged in the same way. This kept the phone lines freed up. If they required an appointment whether same day or not a link would be sent so it can be booked online or you could phone the surgery to make the appointment. This meant everything worked smoothly.

Very difficult even if you ring at 8am by 3 or 4 mins past when the message starts your about 25 to 35 in the queue and then when you do speak to a human all appointments are gone for that day and then after ring back again the next day so sometimes have to wait for days to get booked in

Go back to being able to book appointments at the surgery in person and fine people who waste appointments by not turning up and not cancelling them

Trying to get a doctors appointment by phone is impossible unless you are lucky! I have tried so many time ringing up at 8 am by the time I get to end of que waiting they have all gone! I can never get a call back either.

Nothing this time my appointment went OK.
