Getting an appointment to see a doctor in very difficult. You have to start ringing at 8 am & it's pot luck if you get an appointment. You can sit on the phone for up to an hour to be told there isn't any appointments & to ring back in the morning. Last year I had an appointment with the HCA for bloods & asked the receptionist to make me an appointment with a doctor, I was told she couldn't do that & I would have to ring. Eventually the practice manager was asked to see me & I was chastised for having the audacity to ask for an appointment & told not to attend the surgery to make an appointment, which I hadn't. Eventually an appointment was made but it was not a positive experience.

Do think we should be able to book appointments with Drs on the app , as sometimes it’s not an emergency for that day.

First of all I just want to say I appreciate the staff and doctors are very busy and are probably very overworked,But my grievance is that,The thoroughness just doesn't seem to be there anymore. For example,I have been taking quite a strong dosage of a powerful Anti depressant For The last 2 years, and I have read on an official website that this drug Can be very irritant on the liver and is capable of sending you're blood pressure very high, but not once have these issues been reviewed by any doctor. And when I once quizzed the doctor over the liver worry,He just said sorry and then did make me an oppointment. These things would never had happened years ago.I mean, everything just seems rushed these days,And at the end of the day if you're doctors not going to be thorough (possibly due to cutbacks)What kind of hope does that give you?

Felt that the care taken in asking about me was really good and thorough.
