I just wanted to say how good Dr Williams has been, ensuring I had all the investigations i needed to establish if I had a serious condition ASAP, he kept me informed even to tell me when he didn't have information to tell me and why! I was seen quickly within one month I have had an X-ray, seen a consultant twice had an MRI. Fortunately it turned out to be nothing to serious. I received a call from the surgery letting me know what had been found and I would need another MRI in a year and that they would put in in there diary for a year to arrange. It could have been a worrying time for me and my family but I wasn't so worried as I felt that Dr Williams was on it! and you can't ask for more than that.

Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. You can generally get an appointment the day you phone or the following day.

Having spent some time registering less than 2 month ago and filling in a number of forms and producing the suggested I.D. we were offered the services of one of the practice doctors, fine, I have since registering, had no reason to visit the doctor, but have managed to open an account on line that enables me to ask for repeated prescriptions which has worked well, I now would like to use the on line Doctor appointment system but am told by reception I must collect a letter from them with input on it for opening a on line account just to make an appointment, further I should supply a passport, Driving licence, and proof of address before collecting the said letter, which I find rather over the top, I can with previous proof documents I supplied order medication without having taken up my doctors valuable time but now have to produce even more proofs. I was given to understand the government encouraged the on line system to save the N.H.S. money !!.

The receptionists are extremely rude. They also never sort out what they advise they will and it has taken over 103 phone calls for one simple matter to be sorted out. They advise repeat prescriptions will be sent to the chemist and it is very unlikely they are there when you are told they are. When ringing, they advise that you can only get an appointment if you ring on the day, when pointing out it is 8am and it is not possible to ring any earlier and you are still told there are no appointments available the receptionist raises her voice and becomes aggressive and only apologises when you point out that is an incorrect attitude. I have change GP service due to such bad service service here. My whole family feel the same about this surgery.

It must be difficult keeping the surgery clean during the present building work going on. It is the first time I have met my GP/Dr. Workman and very pleased with his efforts. I signed on using the computer, which at that time showed a '0' waiting time. I waited about 25 minutes. Perhaps keeping this up to date would keep patients better informed. Thank you Dennis Wright
