i used to book on line. but about a year ago i was unable to do this. it was not allowing me to access the appointments. i did enquire at reception and they wasn't sure why. i phoned up the number on visionline and they said they would look into it. but have not heard a word from them since. iwas told that if you have D.N.A. (did not attend) it blocks you out. but i didn't!!! maybe someone can advise me what to do. if the practise or a doctor looks at my post they can advise me what to do. regards mike b 9

It's a bit of a lottery as to whether you get a doctor who listens and that's if you can get passed the Reception staff - few are helpful. The atmosphere here is not welcoming (is it really necessary to have signs saying "don't leave your magazines here - we're not a recycling centre" etc. I've finally had enough and I'm going elsewhere.

My husband and I have coming to this practice for more than 25 years, have always been well looked after and got to know several doctors there. They are knowledgeable and up to date and make sure that the patient understands their advice. They make one participate in all decisions and consider education in their field to be a part of their job. This makes compliance easier. Patients who feel thay are in control feel better. It is very good to see students who sit in on consultations; they must learn much there.

Have used Hampton Medical Centre for 39 years. I have always found all the GP's, from the most Senior to the Locums, to be knowledgeable, kind and helpful. The same goes for the Reception, Administrative staff and Nurses. HMC are a good example of a well run practice. I must also commend the Practice for the relative ease with which one can make an appointment. Well done.
