Have been with this practice for 10 years plus, and the service has slowly deteriorated. Recently I saw an improvement and understand the whole NHS is under strain so thought they had worked on improving things. Phoned up today to ask for my blood type (Ive had several blood tests in the past). First response was the receptionist laughed and said, Im not sure? Second response after putting me on hold was, maybe look on the internet? My response was of total disbelief and disgust... no professionalism or intelligence all.....I had to ask, is this actually a Doctors surgery??

I have been registered with this practice for over forty years and have always found the receptionists most heipful and the doctors and nurses extremely competent with the pathway of treatment options whether prescribed medication or referral to be exactly as needed.

Just spent several days over the last couple of months trying to sort out a discrepancy in a prescription for a patient for whom I collect medication. My last discussion was with Jill on Reception and over the last two days she has solved the problem - discovered where it first occurred and has now corrected the repeat prescription which is sent to Boots in Marylebone for collection. Jill was patient, helpful and despite the confusion of the last couple of months, was happy to go through everything with me and (hopefully!) the next collection will be correct. The waiting room was busy but she took time and used enormous patience and resilience to help me find a solution. Thank you Jill and Cavendish Health Centre.
