Feeling really unwell and because of an important job assignment at the weekend, I called at 14.30 for a GP appointment the same day and the receptionist gave me given an appointment for 2 hours later- exactly what I needed. No fuss, no questions asked. Great service!

This surgery is let down by the rudest, most incompetent reception staff I have ever encountered. Not only do they not know what they are doing, the way they speak to and about patients is absolutely disgusting. I have personally witnessed them shouting at an elderly patient in the reception area - these people have absolutely no compassion and should not be allowed to work anywhere near vulnerable older people. I have no idea what your hiring practices are, but these people need to be fired immediately before further harm is done.

I have never experienced such rude staff members in my life. I come to the GP in a sick and confused state an am treated so badly. They are rude, and unfriendly, especially when you ask questions. The staff tend to snap back at you and are extremely patronising, and always seem irritated. Apart from the people working at the reception, Cavendish Health Center provides good medical service. However, if the reception is so unwelcoming that can hinder patients from wanting to seek help. I urge this NHS unit to talk to their reception staff about how they treat sick patients.

Although I only tried once, the other day , for an early appointment , I was told that I had to cal at 1.30 pm for a same day/ next day cancellation, if one was available A really good Health Centre

The Dr is extremely nice and helpful but the ladies at reception are rude and so not considerate of the patients pain and fears. I dont think anyone would call and ask for an urgent apointement if it wasnt urgent. I have blood test results that needs to be discussed, l've been unwell for a week and all she could say that the earliest is 19th December?
