This surgery and it's appointment system is totally unfit for purpose. It's patients are on a complete hiding to nothing! I've been a patient for ten years, and their practice management are totally incapable of doing anything whatsoever to improve the appointment system which is a national disgrace. Same pathetic service year in year out! Online appointment system. Revoked! Online Triage system. Revoked! Grotesque third world example of the current state of our NHS

Just give me an appointment....!!!

Honestly, this surgery is a national disgrace. Everything about it is rotten and 3rd world. Can't get seen at all. I was number 18 on the phone at 8am to be told no appointment, try again tomorrow. How can this be in 2023? The receptionist was miserable and so rude. I hate them so much. Don't care at all!!!!!

Suggested improvements
Everything. Worst surgery ever. Cant get seen at all and the whole surgery is rotten from top to bottom and is a per down to the community it serves!

I cannot comment on medical treatment or how clean it is but its impossible to get a appointment. My condition is not urgent but I do need to see someone - but you can only ring on the day. I have had a few failures already this week but today I was caller 13 at 8am so how all the appointments are full by the time I get through I have no idea. And I have no idea what to do next - its incredibly frustrating and stressful.

Please go back to pre appointments please

Essentially you need appointment and go through a cycle which ultimately results in nothing happening. Ring at 8am - call never answered but join the call back queue. Call you back (fairly quickly) to say no appointments and to use the online service. Online service never seems to be functional, always says closed due to COVID. State that the reason for your call just requires a referral which the initial one took 5 calls on different days to eventually be told it can be sorted over the phone. Next stage of that treatment apparently can't be and needs a GP appointment. Which you can never get. So, can't get an appointment if you call, go online or turn up at 8am and speak to the Receptionist. Need a GP appointment to get any referral or further treatment but just cannot get one. 9 months of this so far. 9 months with a trapped nerve causing major discomfort and sleep issues. 9 months with a very high heart rate which I had to go A&E for who afterwards said you need to see a GP. At every opportunity you are fobbed off. I get this is a national issue for many but what the hell do we pay taxes for these days? People will die because they cannot see a GP in 2022 Britain!

Suggested improvements
Stop fobbing people off. Stop passing from one method to book a GP to another knowing fine well none of the options will work.

Every doctor in this surgery is excellent. I have confidence in each of them. They listen and understand the problems I have and have always given me great care. I've been with this surgery since 2016 and although it may be difficult to get through on the phone at times, once I do get through, I am treated with great care from the person answering the phones to getting an appointment with the practice nurse or doctor. Everyone is friendly, professional and caring. During lockdown, they handled it all brilliantly and things were run safely. I've never had a problem getting an appointment when needed. I also appreciate the phone message reminders and test results.

Suggested improvements
Some local people complain that you need to hold on the phone for too long. I think the new phone system has improved on this problem with a call back option which reportedly works well. The only thing that seems a bit creepy is the plastic partitions between chairs. It doesn't really seem as if it will keep covid or any other viruses at bay but it's ok.
