Unable to get an Appointment today 13/6/22 couldnt
Connect to phone line at 8am, only 3 Appointments released at 9am clicked
On one but already taken. Tried again at 1pm only 1,Appointment released clicked on it
But again already,taken .when your not well this adds
To your stress. This is a absolute farce.what about my right to see
A doctor.
My experience over the last few weeks has been quiet upsetting and emotional. The receptionist has been most unhelpful, I am sorry to have to write a comment. As things seem to have changed quiet drastically. I have been a patient of the practice for many many years. Clearly things seem to have changed, however the patronising way I have been spoken to recently and the lack of understanding is beyond belief. Letters are sent by other consultants and prescribed treatments etc are missed when you call you have to the surgery (where I noticed many are not wearing masks, despite me being told I have to wear one, which is not a problem) I have to put a note in a prescription box?? I am wasting time and doctors appointments in order to get things done for me. I am a cancer survivor and have sickle cell, I really do not need the stress and aggravation I am currently receiving from this practice.
I called into the Health centre and had blood tests.
And a few days later I was asked to call the centre at 8am for a telephone apt with a doctor.
I asked is it not possible for the doctor to call me as, and was told it was not possible.
I called just before 8am and could not get through, and tried again 15 mins later and held for 50 mins and over £12 less in my pocket for the call.
When I did get through was told I was too late, explained I was on the line for over 50 mins, and that did not matter.
then was asked to try again tomorrow morning again at 8am.
I think the front desk tell you one thing and the people answering the calls tell you another thing.
The call cost us nearly half our food shopping for the week, I will not be phoning again tomorrow.
Will call in.
This only brings more people in the Surgery, and unhappy people.
I was in A & E on Monday 14th April and the wonderful staff said i have an Abnormal Heartbeat and need to follow up with my GP , and there lies the issue i have tried to get
through to book an appointment to no avail. I spent over an hour on hold on Thursday and when i got to front of queue she could not hear me and hung up on me. I went into
the surgery one evening and was told to go away and book an appointment on Phone or
patient access. it is so stressful trying to get an appointment i appreciate the difficult
times but i really feel like giving up altogether.
